Necro Armor
So is it just me or is all the Necromancer armor pretty much the same? I bought a set of Bonelace duds in Ascalon City immediately post-Searing and have been looking everywhere for a better set. But it seems like every crafter and collector I come across only has the same or worse. Where's the good stuff? I've already hit the Shiverpeaks (Yak's Bend) and started in Krytia.

As is the case with all the PvE armor crafters, as you go further into the game, new armor types will become available. Droknars has the fullest range, but if you are not being run, you'll find that a very good selection is available at the two towns of Beetletun and Bergen Hot Springs (in Kryta).

It's a bit odd, but the AL is the same on all armor available until midway through Kryta. You can get better stuff in Beetletun or Bergen Hot Springs, as sledgeunderhill mentions. It's also worth noting that while up until then, collector armor has worse AL than what you can craft, this trend reverses at about that time and you can get higher ALs on collector armor. That remains the case until Droknar's Forge, where you can craft armor of the maximum AL the game offers.

Cool, thanks for the info. I'll have to start dumping some of this "collectible" crap I'm carrying around, then. My inventory is getting pretty crowded with junk.
